The objective of this course is to familarize students with the basics of salsa. In this class you will learn the instruments of salsa and how to find rhythm and timing. You will also learn proper technique and basic footwork, as well as turns, basic shines, and how to dance well with a partner.

Partners are encouraged, however bringing a partner is not necessary. We will be switching partners often to get you comfortable to dancing with different people to further strenthen your confidence as a dancer.
